Positive on Wockhardt and Aarti Drugs: Ashwani Gujral

In a chat with ET Now, Ashwani Gujral, Chief Market Strategist, ashwanigujral.com talks about a range of stocks .

For the short-term trader, what should he/she do starting next week? Any specific spaces based on the kind of performance that we have seen this week that he/she can take exposure to either on the long side or on the short side?

The clear play is that on the day of the policy, before the policy happens, just go long, you will make some money on the Bank Nifty and the bigger PSU banks, so thats one play. The other ones, I have seen Wockhardt moving up today, so the mid-cap pharma flavour is always there. Aarti Drugs moved higher and if you try to play the boundaries of this range, which is 5630-5650 and on the upside, 5740-5750, decent money can be made even in a bad ranging kind of market, so if you are short-term trader, then you need to get used to ranging markets as well but overall since market is sideways, most things are sideways, still for the next week, banking should see more action.
