NEW DELHI: India's Petronet LNG has signed deals to source 1.1 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually for the next two financial years, the company said in its December-quarter earnings statement.
"We are sourcing LNG from various suppliers in small quantities. These volumes are on top of 7.5 million tonne per year LNG that we get from RasGas," Petronet's head of finance A. Sengupta told Reuters.
Sengupta declined to name the sellers and the regions from where the supplies have been sourced.
